Dingle Single pot still, Batch 3, 46.5% Abv.
Appearance – Darker Gold, sticks well to the glass, drops slow running thick legs.
Nose – Tropical fruit, Pineapple, Apricot, Orange, Fruit cocktail syrup, Royal Icing.
Palate – Oily, rich, lovely mouth feel, tastes much like the nose, Tropical fruits, Apricot, Some bitter Lemon, Pear, Fruit cocktail, and very light wood notes.
Finish – Long, lasts some time on the back of the palate.
My thoughts – This is a wonderful Single Pot Still Whiskey imho, lovely and rounded, warming, and definitely wants you savour more of it.
Would I buy a bottle? Definitely.
