Eden Mill, first release, 46.5% Abv

eden mill first release

Appearance – Straw coloured, clings well to the glass, drops a couple of thick legs.

Nose – Lemon, Pineapple, Apricot, Milky coffee, BBQ meat, Custard, the milky coffee notes get stronger with time and become more coffee flavoured Revels.

Palate – Love heart sweets, Cola cubes, Pineapple cubes, BBQ sauce, Cut straw, Herbaceous with fruit tartness, makes me salivate.

Finish – Medium length, white pepper, Fruit cocktail syrup and gently warming.

My thoughts – A very capable first release, needs air and some time to open up.

Would I buy a bottle? – From initial taste, no, but after leaving it for a few weeks, yes.

Thanks to – @maltmusings and the Blind tasting consortium.
