Appearance – Light straw in colour, clings well to the glass, drops slow thick legs.
Nose – Strawberries, Cherry lozenges, Cranberry, Blood orange, Very slight Germoline, Cut grass, Sweet peat, Pineapple cubes, Fruit salad sweets, Pencil shavings, Red Currents, and Honey.
Palate – Sweet liquorice mixed with Marine peat, tea (can’t be more specific), Cranberries, Cherry, Lightly medicinal, Sticky plasters, Icing sugar, Vanilla ice cream, and Honey.
Finish – Medium in length, Sweeter peat, and warm Honey..
My thoughts – This is a super Whisky, lots going on, and plenty of punch.
Would I buy a bottle? – I know this is quite an expensive bottle, and if I had the money available, I would most likely buy one.
