Appearance – Dark Gold in colour, sticks well to the glass, and slowly drops thick legs.
Nose – Cherry lozenges, Cranberry, Pineapple cubes, Fruit cocktail syrup, Raisins, A little ash, Red apples.
Palate – Pineapple, Fruit cocktail, Raisins, Clove, Christmas pudding, Mince pies, Apricot, Peach, Black pepper, Nectarines, and Blood Oranges.
My thoughts – An amazingly deep and bold Pot Still Whiskey, one of the most flavoursome Whiskies I’ve had the pleasure to imbibe.
Would I buy a bottle? – A definite yes for me, so much flavour, and so bold, a super drop.
