Appearance – Light Gold in colour, Slow running thick legs.
Nose – Almond, Vanilla, Candied Lemon rind, Slightly nutty, Tropical fruits, Pineapple, Apricot, and a light smokiness.
Palate – Stewed dark fruits, Raisins, Clove, Cinnamon, Black pepper, Ginger, Vanilla, Gentle smile, and has a lovely sweetness that runs through it.
Finish – Medium length, Slightly peppery, icing sweetness, a little drying.
My thoughts – This is a loverly natural coloured, and non chill filtered Irish blended whiskey, which has plenty of flavour.
Would I buy a bottle? – Without a doubt, a super sipper, with a lot of flavour for the price.
