Appearance – Slightly damp straw in colour, slow thin legs.
Nose – Pineapple, Peach, White grapes, Icing sugar, Lemon, Sweet.
Palate – Icing sugar, Pineapple cubes, white pepper, Lemon rind, Oak, Slight Vanilla, Honey.
Finish – Medium to long, Peppery, Spicy, Warming, more Honey.
My thoughts – This is a loverly entry level bottling, all fruit up front, sweet, with Oak in the background, easy drinking.
Would I buy a bottle? – Yes, it’s loverly and refreshing, aimed more at the newcomer to whisky, and I could see it doing well in cocktails, so fruity.
