Appearance – it’s straw/white wine in colour, it’s very viscous, and has slow thick legs.
Nose – Straight away for me it’s very floral and perfumed, with cream soda, icing sugar, rose water, vanilla, and a slight meaty note.
Palate – It has a nice mouthfeel, with honey, vanilla, some darker fruits, sultanas and dates, white pepper, stem ginger, cinnamon and oak, it’s a good palate.
Finish – I’d say it medium in length, it also loverly and warming, there’s peppercorns, lemon slices, apricots, with a little drying.
My thoughts – This blended whiskey is very nice, it has a very nice mouthfeel too, it’s a belter blend than many I’ve tried tbh.
Would I buy a bottle? – It has to be a yes from me, it’s a great sipper at a great price, sometimes that’s all you need.
